ABOUT

Brittni
Capps
I am a dual licensed clinical social worker in Washington and Oregon and the owner of Real Roots Counseling, which I founded in the fall of 2022. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Arizona State University and have advanced training in EMDR, OCD, OCPD, and trauma.
I am passionate about providing a safe and supportive space for clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. My approach is rooted in the belief that true growth happens when we challenge ourselves and step into discomfort. I help clients reconnect with their bodies, learning to listen to the messages conveyed through emotions, thoughts, and physical sensations.
Therapy is not just about insight—it’s about transformation. I strive to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and supported so that you can lean into challenges and embrace personal growth. Whether you’re navigating trauma, OCD, or life’s transitions, I am here to help you uncover resilience, gain clarity, and cultivate meaningful change.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with my family, curling up on the couch with a good book, and soaking up the sunshine whenever it decides to make an appearance.
