Hi, I’m Christina Moon Warner

LMFT Associate

Before pursuing a mental health career I studied Kinesiology to become a physical therapist. I also spent 7 years working in hospital pharmacy. I think there is great value in taking care of both our physical and mental well being in order to show up as our best selves.

My approach to therapy focuses on finding the existing strengths and skills in people that can be nurtured into new ways to get the most out of life. I also think therapy can be a place to embody the fun and passionate parts of ourselves and I will often use books, movies, art, games, and music as ways to connect to ourselves and our world.

My Approach

Grow

We will work together to uncover the cycles and patterns that no longer serve you, and create new ways of moving through life that will help you live a happier and healthier life.

Cultivate

My approach focuses on finding and cultivating a client’s strengths which will support learning and healing in the future. I mainly use IFS, CBT, and mindfulness.

Embody

I believe therapy is a place to embody the fun and passionate parts of ourselves. That’s why I often use books, movies, art, games, and music as ways to connect to yourself and our world.

10 Things About Me
(in no particular order)…

From elementary through high school I played violin with the school orchestra and got to perform in Disneyland 4 times.

I am a HUGE Kpop fan! My ult group is Ateez and my bias is Seonghwa

I trained in classical ballet technique for 16 years and danced several full length ballets such and the Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, and Copelia

It is hard to pick a favorite book, but The Lord of the Rings trilogy is the one that has stayed the most meaningful to me over time and I love to geek out over the deep lore and world building of Middle Earth.

I teach a Kpop dance fitness class on the weekends.

My two cockatiels keep life at home interesting. Their names are Mr. Darcy and Mr. Bingley.

I grew up across the street from Folsom Prison (the one from the Johnny Cash song).

I dabble in many creative hobbies; photography and embroidery are the most current ones. I just love learning new things.

Green beans are my favorite food ever, and I detest raspberries.

I have more than 50 different house plants.
