Hi, I’m Katie Yung

MSW, SUDP, CADCII, LSWAIC

I value balance, connection, and taking time to recharge, and I believe those same principles are essential for mental and emotional well-being.

My personal and professional experiences shape the empathy, flexibility, and genuine care I bring into my work, allowing me to meet clients with understanding, warmth, and respect at every stage of their journey.

Outside of the therapy room, I stay busy as a baseball and Girl Scout mom, and life at home includes one dog and three cats who keep things lively and entertaining.

My Approach

Connection

That’s why I strive to create a space that feels safe, welcoming, and free of judgment, where clients can show up as their authentic selves.

Trust

My style is supportive and strengths-based, with a focus on building insight, resilience, and practical coping skills that clients can carry into their daily lives.

10 Things About Me
(in no particular order)…

I’m a licensed social worker and therapist who genuinely enjoys helping people navigate life’s messy moments.

I believe humor is an underrated coping skill and often sprinkle it into my work when appropriate.

I love paddleboarding and will choose being on the water over just about anything.

I’m a big believer that real growth happens when people feel safe, supported, and understood.

I’m a lifelong learner who enjoys growing both personally and professionally.

I value authenticity and try to show up as my real self with clients.

I believe therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating — it can be comfortable, human, and even a little fun.

Spending time at the river with my family is my favorite way to relax, reset, and recharge.

My goal is to help clients feel more confident, connected, and empowered in their everyday lives.
